Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 12, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how FlutterLens
(flutter_debug_tools) handles information when you use
the app.
1) Data We Collect
We do not collect personal information on our servers from your use of FlutterLens.
The app provides debugging features that can display and process data locally on your device, such as:
- App logs and error traces.
- Network request and response metadata and payload snippets captured in-app.
- Device details (for diagnostics display).
- Debug preference settings stored on-device.
2) How Data Is Used
Data shown by FlutterLens is used only to support debugging and diagnostics for the developer using the app. By default, this information remains on-device and in-memory for local inspection.
3) Data Sharing
We do not sell or share personal information collected by FlutterLens because the tool does not transmit this debugging data to our servers.
If your own app or third-party SDKs send data to external services, those transfers are governed by your app's implementation and the third parties' policies.
4) Data Retention
Debug data retention is limited to on-device storage and session state used by the app. You can clear logs and debug data from within the app where supported.
5) Children
FlutterLens is a developer utility and is not directed to children under 13.
6) Security
We use reasonable measures for the app itself, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. Avoid capturing sensitive production data in debug tooling when possible.
7) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
